Harbor & Pine Coffee sells roasted beans online and through four cafés. The current website was built five years ago and has grown by accretion: the menu, the shop, and the wholesale form each live on a different template, and most orders now arrive on phones.
This sample shows how a flexchat proposal reads. Every section below is a block in a single JSON file, so the same pages can be rebuilt for any client by changing the words, not the layout.
flexchat recommends consolidating the shop, menu, and wholesale form into one storefront with a single product catalogue.
The work is deliberately bounded. It covers the catalogue, the three customer journeys, and launch verification. It does not include photography, copywriting, or ongoing marketing, which can be added later as separate engagements.
The following points support the recommendation. They are not a full technical audit.
Three separate templates serve the shop, the menu, and the wholesale form. A visitor moving between them sees different navigation and a different cart.
Of 142 product pages, 38 have no description and 61 have images over 2 MB, which slows the pages most visitors open first.
The storefront would move to a managed platform, which removes hosting and security upkeep. Monthly platform fees are paid directly by Harbor & Pine and are not part of the project fee.
flexchat will design and build one storefront that carries the shop, the menu, and the wholesale form under a single navigation and cart.
The existing 142 products will be cleaned, described, and imported once, with image sizes reduced and redirects set so existing links keep working.
The site will be reviewed on staging before launch. Harbor & Pine will receive an administrator guide and a 30-day post-launch warranty.
The expected delivery period is approximately four weeks from kickoff, subject to timely approvals.
All prices are stated in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Prices in this sample are placeholders.
The project includes two approval checkpoints: design approval and final staging approval. Work beyond the agreed scope will be estimated separately before it begins.
This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date above.
Harbor & Pine may approve the Storefront Redesign in writing.
Reply to confirm, and the kickoff invoice will be issued.
